When on welfare you are participating in a socialist program. Therefore your life should have socialist consequences while on this program. This helps prevent fraud and makes their life "uncomfortable" so that welfare recipients don't want to stay on it forever. Drug testing is the least of which I would support. I would also support random home inspections, financial consulting or oversight and required courses to help them push themselves forward by revitalizing their brain with a hour and a half of school each day. Soon you wouldn't have many people on welfare...Once they were off. they would return to normal status. If people don't like this then we could always go the way of totally removing welfare which I would be happier with. I believe help should be found in nonprofits, your neighbor or churches. Depending on the government has broken down neighborhoods. There is no accountability in a welfare system!

Great post! I agree fully. As a Libertarian, I don't really care what you do in your house with your time. As a person whose lifestyle causes other people to sacrifice their time, drug tests are completely fair.
